지난 11월 27일, 서울 리츠칼튼호텔 그랜드볼룸에서 제33회 대한미용외과학회 추계학술대회 / 제15회 국제안검성형심포지엄 / 제3회 줄기세포심포지엄이 성황리에 개최되었습니다.
이번 학술 대회는 어지러운 국내 정세에 걱정을 표하는 주변 시선에도 불구하고 연자의 대부분이 예정대로 참여하여 무사히 진행되었을 뿐 아니라, 최근에 개최되었던 어떤 학회보다도 많은 참가자로 본 학회의 명성을 실감할 수 있었습니다.
대한의사협회 연수평점 6점이 부여된 이번 학술대회는 국내외 400여명의 의사가 참석 했으며, 미용외과 전분야 및 줄기세포 분야의 다양한 연제발표가 이루어졌습니다.
특히 이번 학술대회에서는 싱가폴의 National Eye Center, National University of Singapore, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, 필리핀의 Cardinal Santos Medical center, 사우디아라비아의 King Saud University에서 여러 명의 해외 연자가 참가해 동아시아의 미용외과적 고견을 교류하는 등 본 학술대회의 학문적 가치를 높였습니다.
이번 학술대회는 ‘Refined Old Ideas & New Innovation’이라는 큰 주제로 대형강의실 3곳과 소 강의실 3곳에서 진행되었으며, Room A에서는 Body contouring을 주제로 전철우, 이해영, 김철환 원장님을 비롯해 Matthew Yeo, Michael Pasquale의 강의가 진행되었으며, 오후에는 Seah Lay Laeng, Morgan Yang, Marcus Wong, Stephanie Young, Yvonne Chung, Yip Chee Chew 등 싱가폴의 미용수술 대가들의 강의가 스페셜 세션으로 이어졌습니다.
Room B에서는 maxillofacial surgey와 facial contouring을 주제로 이덕원, 강제구, 강일규 교수님, 이진규, 김인상, 한청희, 이용행 원장님의 강의가 이루어졌으며 오후에는 사우디아라비아의 Sammer Ali Bafaqeeh와 손원상, 송형민, 김인상 원장님의 코성형 세션이 진행되었습니다.
Room C에서는 Stem Cell Special Lecture Session을 통해서 숙명여대 이정애, 양영 교수님, 부산대 김재호 교수님, 건국대 조쌍구 교수님 등의 전문적인 줄기세포 연구 발표가 있었으며, 오후에는 미국의 Farzad Pourarian, Micheal Pasquale, 박경원 원장님의 줄기세포 응용에 대한 발표가 진행되었습니다.
Room D에서는 개별 등록 프로그램으로서 피부, 보톡스, 필러, 리프팅, 모발이식 등에 관한 강의들이 입문자를 고려한 세세한 내용과 설명으로 선보였고, 점심시간이 넘어서 진행되어도 끝까지 집중하는 등 참가자들의 학구열을 엿볼 수 있었습니다.
이날 강의실 곳곳에서 는 Q & A를 통한 열띤 토론이 진행되었고, 많은 해외 참가자들도 진지하게 강의를 경청하는 모습도 보였습니다.
